Hiring outside help

Some assets come from people who will never sign in to agh, such as a seller you hire on Fiverr or a studio you email. agh hands them a brief and takes their files back:

1. agh brief claims the requests for you and writes a zip with the brief. 2. You place the order wherever you hire, paste the brief and attach the zip. 3. agh import matches the files that come back to the requests and delivers them for review, made by the person you name.

Fiverr has no API for placing orders or collecting deliveries, so choosing the seller and paying them happens on Fiverr. agh keeps track of which requests are out, and with whom.

If the person is happy to use a web page, a guest link (below) is simpler: they claim and deliver the requests themselves, and nothing goes through your downloads.

Write the brief

agh brief --tag role=card_art # every open card art request
agh brief card.ember_wolf.art card.frost_hare.art --hold 2w --out wolves.zip

agh brief takes request ids, or the same filters as agh next (--kind, --tag, --prefix) to take every open request that matches. It claims each one in your name for --hold, 7 days unless you say otherwise and at most 30, so nobody else works on them meanwhile. Requests someone else holds, and requests with an open question, are skipped and named.

The zip holds:

Each asset is delivered under its target file name, such as ember_wolf.png. When two requests in the brief share a file name, both use the request id instead, such as card.ember_wolf.art.png.

If the work runs long, renew a claim with agh claim <id> --hold 7d. If the order is cancelled, agh release <id> gives each request back to the queue.

Import what comes back

Download the delivery, then:

agh import ~/Downloads/order-FO1234.zip --made-by "Jane Doe via Fiverr" --dry-run
agh import ~/Downloads/order-FO1234.zip --made-by "Jane Doe via Fiverr"

agh import takes a zip or a folder and looks at every file in it, in any folder. A file belongs to a request you hold when its name, ignoring case, is the delivery name from the brief, the target file name, or the request id with the target's extension. Everything else is listed and left alone, so source files such as PSDs and the seller's notes do no harm.

When two files match one request, such as final/ember_wolf.png and draft/ember_wolf.png, the import skips it and names both, and you deliver the right one with agh fill. Requests still waiting for a file are listed at the end. Run the import again when the rest arrive.

Imported files go to review like any other delivery: agh list --status delivered, or Review. A rejection reopens the request for anyone. To keep it with the same seller, claim it again and send them the review note as a revision on the order.

Give them a guest link

A guest link is a private web page for one person. It lists the open requests you chose, and they claim them, download the file a request replaces, ask questions and upload their files, with no account. It works for 30 days unless you say otherwise, at most 90.

agh guest add --name "Jane Doe via Fiverr" --tag role=card_art # every open card art request
agh guest add card.ember_wolf.art card.frost_hare.art --name "Ana Ruiz" --days 14

Or, in the web app, filter Open requests to what they should see and choose Share with a guest. The link reaches the requests matching those filters, now and later; with no filters applied, it reaches the requests open at that moment. Settings › Guest links lists your links and revokes them. The link is shown once; paste it into the order. Anyone who has it can claim and deliver those requests, so send it only to the person doing the work.

Each delivery asks the guest how the file was made: by a person, AI-assisted or AI-generated, and which AI tools if any. A file declared AI-assisted is made by "Jane Doe via Fiverr using Midjourney v7". Their files go to review like any other delivery, marked as delivered by the guest.

Brand your guest links

On Studio and Enterprise, Organization > Branding & address puts your studio on every guest page: your logo, an accent colour, a short welcome note, and a dark or light page. On the Address tab, ask for a name such as yourstudio, and once agh approves it, new links open at yourstudio.assetgoeshere.com. Links you sent before keep working, and a later rename redirects the old address for 90 days. Every guest page keeps a small Made with agh mark at the bottom. The same logo, colour and look also brand your public AI disclosure pages.

Share reference art

A link can also show art they should match, such as a character's approved expressions, to view and download but not claim or change. In the Library, choose Select, pick the tiles, and choose Share with a guest; or choose Share all that match instead to share everything the Library's kind, prefix and tag filters match, now and later. Make a new link, or add the art to one you already sent: the link stays the same, and the guest sees the new art the next time they open it. From Open requests, Add to an existing link gives a link new requests and keeps its reference art, so one link can hold both. On the command line, --reference <id> adds art to a new link.

agh guest list shows each link, how long it works and what it holds. agh guest revoke <id> stops it at once and gives the requests it holds back to the queue; files it delivered stay in review.

For agents: this page as Markdown is at /docs/hire.md, and the CLI prints it with agh guide hire.
